Paper Submission & Publication


We invite you to submit a:

  • Full Paper (up to 6 pages): Oral presentation is required.
  • Short Paper (up to 4 pages): Poster presentation.


Manuscripts must be written in English and will be refereed by experts in the field based on originality, significance, quality and clarity. All contributions must be original, should not have been published elsewhere and should not be intended to be published elsewhere during the review period. Accepted papers will be included in ICEUTE 2011 Proceedings that will be published by IEEE and indexed in IEEE Xplore.


Papers must be formatted following the IEEE format. Formating instructions and templates:


NOTICE: All papers for ICEUTE 2011 must be initially submitted in electronic form (PDF format) using the online paper submission system.




Instructions for Authors

If you are an author willing to get your paper published in ICEUTE 2011 Proceedings, you must strictly follow these instructions:


  1. Submit the initial version of your paper (in PDF format) through the online submission system by 23rd June, 2011. Your paper should not exceed 8 pages and must comply with the IEEE template (see above).

  2. Once your paper has been reviewed (by 1st August, 2011), if it has been tentatively accepted, you will need to revise your paper carefully taking account of the reviewers' comments. The revised paper (in PDF format) must be uploaded by 20th August, 2011.
    This should also be done through the online paper submission system.

  3. If or when your paper has been definitely accepted, you will need to upload: the source file(s) (rather MS Word or LaTeX) and the PDF file of the final version, as well as the signed copyright form. All these files must be uploaded to the system by 25th August, 2011. Do strictly follow the camera ready paper guidelines. You may also need to check the IEEE PDF manual.
  4. At least one author of each accepted paper must register and pay the fees before 2nd September, 2011. Payment proofs must be received by this date.
