2nd CALL FOR PAPERS:

Hybrid Artificial Intelligence Systems Session (HAIS´07.-KES 2007) http://www.ubu.es/investig/grupos/ing_const/lsi-1/HAIS07v2.html

Under the frame of:
KES-2007 Conference
11th International Conference on:
Knowledge-Based & Intelligent Information & Engineering Systems
Conference Venue: Vietri Sul Mare, near Salerno, Italy
12-14 September 2007
http://kes2007.kesinternational.org/

*** Hybrid Artificial Intelligence Systems Session (HAIS´07) combines symbolic and sub-symbolic techniques to construct more robust and reliable problem solving models. Hybrid intelligent systems are becoming popular due to their capabilities in handling many real world complex problems, involving imprecision, uncertainty and vagueness, high-dimensionality. They provide us with the opportunity to use both, our knowledge and row data to solve problems in a more interesting and promising way.
This multidisciplinary research field is in continuous expansion in the artificial intelligence research community and we believe that KES-2007 is an excellent forum to run this event.
HAIS´07 provides an interesting opportunity to present and discuss the latest theoretical advances and real-world applications in this multidisciplinary research field.

*** TOPICS ***

Topics are encouraged, but not limited to, the combination of at least two of the following areas in the field of Hybrid Intelligent Systems:
•          Fusion of soft computing and hard computing
•          Evolutionary Computation
•          Visualization Techniques
•          Ensemble Techniques
•          Data mining and decision support systems
