Special Session: Soft Computing Models for Security in Industrial Environments

SOCO 2010

This special session tries to bring together researchers, engineers, developers and practitioners from academia and industry working in all interdisciplinary areas of Soft Computing and Computer Security to share the experience, and exchange and cross-fertilize ideas.

This special session will provide an interesting opportunity to present and discuss the latest theoretical advances and real-world applications of these two fields to the industrial domain.

Contributions

All submissions will be refereed by experts in the field based on originality, significance, quality and clarity. Every submitted paper to this special session will be reviewed by at least two members of the Program Committee.

Three kinds of papers can be submitted to this special session:

  1. Long papers consisting of original, relevant and previously unpublished sound research results, related to any of the topics of the conference, with a maximum of 8 pages.
  2. Short papers can be project reports, a summary of a PhD thesis or work in progress, with no more than 4 pages.
  3. Doctoral papers PhD students are invited to present the topic and progress of their research, in order to get some feedback from a panel of experts. The length of these papers should not exceed 8 pages.

Papers must comply with Springer's templates (rather MS-Word or LaTeX) for the Advances in Intelligent and Soft Computing volume series.

NOTICE: All papers must be submitted in electronic form (PDF format) through the SOCO 2010 conference management system.
